Israelis evacuated from Amman hotel hours before bombings

By Yoav Stern, Haaretz Correspondent

A number of Israelis staying on Wednesday at the Radisson hotel were evacuated before the bombing by Jordanian security forces, apparently due to a specific security alert. They were escorted back to Israel by security personnel.

Too many dead to snark this one. Too many injured. Too few minutes ago. I haven't submerged in the horror of a terror attack for a little while now. It just does not do my spirit good. The anger. The rage. Still ... one can only pause at this article.

Senior PA security officials killed

Two senior Palestinian security officials were also among the scores killed in the series of explosion that rocked three Amman hotels, the Palestinian ambassador to Jordan reported Thursday.

According to the PA envoy, the senior security figures killed are Bashir Nafa and Abed Alloun. Nafa, the Palestinian West Bank intelligence chief, headed the PA’s special forces in the past and is considered a close associate of PA Minister Mahmoud Dahlan.

The Palestinians also say that the PA’s economic attache in Cairo and a senior Palestinian banker were also killed in the blasts.,7340,L-3166883,00.html
