Group Plans Protest at Local Fallen Soldier's Funeral

An anti-military group says it plans to protest during Tuesday's funeral for fallen Marine Lance Corporal David Huhn. Outrage is not too strong of a word. The Kansas group Westboro Baptist Church has been going all around the country with their message that God hates veterans. David Huhn's family says they're trying to keep that kind of activity from going on during his funeral. The town of Portland is mourning the loss of Marine Lance Corporal David Huhn.

In Proclamation No. 2003-4, signed by Governor Granholm, U.S. flags are ordered lowered to half-staff throughout the state of Michigan and to half-mast on Michigan waters whenever one of Michigan's own is killed in the line of duty.
