Deal reached on Gaza Strip border crossings

..
Rice helps broker, but Abbas later criticizes Israeli strategy

MSNBC News Services
But shortly after the deal was announced, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of trying to avoid peace talks and pushing Palestinians into civil war by insisting that militants be disarmed ahead of any negotiations on statehood.

It was not the first time that Abbas had warned that disarming militants could risk civil war, but it was some of his strongest criticism of Israel since the Gaza pullout in September.

I'm starting to miss Araf*ck. Someone slap that b*tch Abbas, hard. Oh wait ..., hamas, Islamic jihad, and hezbollah do it every day. They may have an agreement on the Rafah border, in hand. But with Abbas holding his ding a ling, in his hand. Peace is still only a dream. Pure fantasy ..... like the statement: "Palestinian leader Abbas."

I am led to believe that peace between Israel and Palestine will be assured very soon. Prayers are being answered.

That certainly would be very, very nice indeed acp. But honestly .... I have reservations about someone who claims one of their favorite movies is, Xanadu? :-)

Of course, I've never seen the movie. But (shhhh), I did once see Olivia in concert, in my teens [she was the headliner. It was the opening act I attended for (the Smothers Brothers)].

Thanks for the visit and the cheery thought.

Sincerely, Elmo.
