Wow, one would think this actually has something to do with Tom Delay? Hmmm, I wonder how someone might get that impression?

In eighth paragraph:
Mr. Scanlon left Mr. DeLay's office in 2000
In eleventh paragraph:
Mr. DeLay has been indicted in Texas on charges involving political fund-raising that are not related to the inquiry in which Mr. Scanlon pleaded guilty today.
