I was once a liberal

No big thing. Here in America, this is largely what we teach our children. Peace. Love. Understanding. And I really don't know that I'd change a thing. It's a good life, even with the day to day humdrum, and whatever existential dilemmas we face. Our strength as human beings, as a country. We do not deal in hate, we do not live in it. We do not breathe it. And we most certainly do not teach it to our children. That however, can change.

American hostage killed in Iraq

WASHINGTON - An American who was among four Christian activists kidnapped last year in Iraq has been killed ..... The FBI verified that a body found in Iraq Friday morning was that of Tom Fox, 54 ..... The previously unknown Swords of Righteousness Brigades claimed responsibility for kidnapping the four workers, who disappeared Nov. 26.

Christian Peacemaker Teams had been working in Iraq since October 2002, investigating allegations that U.S. and Iraqi forces abused Iraqi detainees. Its teams host human rights conferences in conflict zones, promoting peaceful solutions. In the three years since the U.S.-led coalition invaded Iraq, insurgents have kidnapped at least 250 foreigners and killed at least 40 of them.

One could besmirch the life that was Mr. Fox, and call him stupid or blind. But, he was doing what he believed in, as obviously foolish as it was. Even delusional. But such is the life of a liberal peace activist. Standing in a torrent of blood raining from the sky, and smiling like a fool. Militant radical Islam only knows death. It only knows hate. It does not recognize the heart that beats within, the yearning for peace. Murder is all it knows. Do not be deceived by the human shape, the recognizable form. These are wanted escapees from the gates of hell, who have no place upon this earth.

To call you a useful idiot Mr. Fox, is quite rather discourteous. But it is your epitaph. Your sacrifice not even a notch on Allah's sword's sheath. Just another bag of bones in the pile. Muhammed knows not your sacrifice, he only rejoices in consuming your blood. R.I.P. Tom Fox.

One of the charms of being a liberal, is that you have absolutely no clue how deranged you really are. None ..... zeeeep, zeeeero, naw duh.

CLEAR BROOK, Va. — A group of Quakers sat in silence as they have done every week since Tom Fox was taken hostage in Iraq last year, but on Saturday they prayed not for him, but (for) his killers.

Stop the wall Tom? Nothing about disgusting, vile insects wantonly consuming human beings, with cherished abandon. Stopping their blood lust? Anyway Tom, ole buddy, ole pal ..... could you do me a favor? When you get your seating chart for the dining room in heaven, could you say hello to Saint Pancake for me (I'm sure you'll get assigned to the idiot's table). I miss her.
