'Armenian airliner plunges into Black Sea'

Plunges ...... or was it pushed? "All 113 on board killed; officials believe stormy weather may be to blame." The tag line gets it right, but the story pushes weather as the only possibility. That those good leetle terrorists couldn't possibly have had anything to do with the plane's downing. The story's last paragraph exposes those excrementalists AP, in their usual craft:

Two Sochi-bound Russian planes crashed in August 2004, one near the central city of Tula and the other in the Rostov region, when alleged Chechen terrorists detonated bombs on board. Ninety people were killed.

When is a terrorist a terrorist? Hmmm, bombs on board an airplane, ninety people dead (sounds like a performance artist to me).

'Hamas: Financial siege is 'real holocaust'

DAMASCUS, Syria, May 3 (UPI) -- Hamas chief Khaled Meshaal deplored the financial blockade averting payment to (the) Palestinian Authority as a "real holocaust." Meshaal told a gathering at Damascus University Wednesday, that what is happening to the Palestinians in the occupied territories "is the real holocaust and a crime taking place in broad daylight."

I giss Meshaal nevvah hoyd of Godwin's Law? Mad props Khaled baby. Keep on keeping on. One day you'll be dead. Daytime, nightime, no diff you'll be a stiff. That is if Olmert can locate his pair?

Hamas chief says suicide bombings 'a natural right'

DAMASCUS (AFP) - Hamas supremo Khaled Meshaal has defended Palestinian suicide bombings as a "natural right" while denouncing what he called Washington's ambitions to dominate the Middle East. "Our enemies ... don't understand that a suicide operation ... is a natural right," the exiled leader told students in Damascus.

Hey Ehud, maybe I should take up a collection and send you a flashlight? (And an anatomy chart).

'Hackers libel Canadian PM on train signs'

Toronto train passengers were left scratching their heads after a hacker altered signs to announce that Stephen Harper, the country's prime minister, "eats babies". An unidentified ne'er-do-well broke into systems controlling electronic signs on Toronto's westbound Lakeshore GO Transit train. Scrolling LED signs on several trains repeated the message "Stephen Harper Eats Babies" every three seconds.

This is what performance art looks like. Optional title: more an a few of us have too much time on our hands.

Agent Slavinsky wrote in to suggest I get either a large group of people in blue polo shirts and khakis to enter a Best Buy or a group in red polo shirts and khakis to enter a Target. Wearing clothing almost identical to the store's uniform, the agents would not claim to work at the store but would be friendly and helpful if anyone had a question. Via Fark.

'Israel must change its message to the world'

It is imperative that in concert with any territorial withdrawals from the West Bank over the coming years, Israel reframe the conflict between it and the Palestinians as one of a "border dispute" as opposed to an "occupation" if there are to be lasting, favorable changes in the international political landscape, according to Gidi Grinstein, the founder and president of the Re'ut think tank in Tel Aviv.
